Calabrese Green Sprouting
Calabrese Green Sprouting
(Brassica oleracea)
***NEW TO US IN 2021***
Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds
Packet Description:
“Italian heirloom brought to America in the 1880s; 5”-8” heads and many side shoots”
Our take:
Broccoli is something that we very much need to work on. Not to hone, but to hammer out anything even resembling skill. Multiple years I have tried different broccolis with no luck.
We have started 12+ plants for this year, we will certainly be trying our hand at a few. Most though, will be given away to local gardeners in hopes others may report back success.
