San Marzano Lung No. 2

(Solanum lycopersicum)

*New to us in 2021*

Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds

Indeterminate

Packet Description:

“A newer selection of this famous Italian cooking tomato! Long, cylindrical fruit; dense, dry flech and few seeds. A heavy-producing garden standard.”

Our take:

San Marzano, came on our radar 2020 after visiting Arrow Creek Farm the home garden dubbed such by founders, Chris and Emily Hughes. Chris, the head assassin at NJMA Delran was kind enough to give us a tour.

They had tremendous success with these beefy, and beautiful romas. As we are delving deeper into canning for preservation, we hope to be so lucky.
